Working with willow is one of our oldest crafts and traditions

Whether to make lobster pots, baskets for the home and work place, living fences, hurdles or wood fuel, willow has proven to be the most vigorous and versatile of all our coppiced woodlands. Now they are valued for living willow structures and sculptures, and in more recent times for their ability to sequester carbon more quickly than any other tree planted.

Willow is only available to buy from the end of November through to end of February, and for pick-up only.

Willow for living sculpture, fencing or hurdles

For planting:

~ 14 inch cutting – £10 per 25

~ 30 inch cutting – £25 per 25 (for use with spiral guard against rabbits)

For living sculptures and fences:

6 – 8 ft living rods – £40 per 25 bundle

Basket Willow

Single variety or mix of Dicky Meadows, Dark Dicks, Helix and Brittany Blue:
